The Flying Cupcake-owned donut shop will permanently close its doors on June 7th. The Dancing Donut came on the scene in the spring of 2015 with celebrity-inspired named donuts like the Eclaire Huxtable and Mariah Berry. The shop will operate as usual until then.
This is the latest of a stream of COVID-19 related closings. Owner Kate Drury expressed in a statement on Instagram: “I did the best I could to keep things afloat amidst COVID-19, but she got the best of me unfortunately.”
