International-inspired neighborhood pub, Shoefly Public House announced they are closing their doors, citing issues bought on by the coronavirus pandemic.

The statement on Facebook reads, “Now as the weather turns & it is too cold to eat outside & not really safe to eat inside, we feel the best thing to do is close. There is no further relief in sight and we don’t want to risk not being able to pay our staff and/or vendors.”

Shoefly opened in the Fall of 2013 after owners, Craig & Kait Mariutto, moved into the Fall Creek Place neighborhood and quickly discovered that dining options were limited. The restaurant quickly become a favorite with a seasonal menu, rotating selection of libations, and a welcoming patio.
