When Vivante opened on the lower level of Carmel’s Hotel Carmichael back in August, ,it had one thing in mind — to bring a fresh perspective to French cuisine — and it’s doing just that.
The French eatery, which is open daily serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a brunch menu also available, boasts a collection of classic wines that pair with its spin on classic dishes like boeuf bourguignon.
Executive chef Joseph Hsu leads the kitchen with over 25 years of experience with stops in New York, Florida and locally at the Indianapolis Zoo.
In addition to an eclectic interior which draws inspiration from the hotel, seasonal outdoor seating is available including severals igloos alongside the Monon Trail.
