Popular Westside hotspot Chef Tia’s & Co which specializes in southern & cajun cuisine is opening a chicken wing spinoff next month – Chicken Scratch.
Wing Wednesday has been a regular special at Chef Tia’s since opening in the fall of 2019, helping inspire the new restaurant.
Chicken Scratch will feature many of the homemade favorites like honey hot, cajun ranch and sweet chili in addition to some new options which may or may not rotate.
Chef and owner Tia Harrison used a $25,000 award from Discover Financial Services to support Black-owned restaurants to help fund the new restaurant, which will open in the same strip as Chef Tia’s.
Hours will probably resemble Chef Tia’s current hours — Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. – but more focused on carryout options.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
