Claddagh Irish Pub is making its Indy exit as the downtown location has permanently closed.

They’ve been closed since March, after temporarily closing due to restrictions related to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Plainfield location (pictured) at The Shops at Perry Crossing also recently shuttered.

Several other locations have closed of the popular Irish chain, which opened 17 locations scattered across the Midwest — including three in Indianapolis.

This weekend the custom built bar at the Downtown location built by carpenters in Ireland will go up for auction.
