Century old Westfield barn is getting a new tenant in May

The 100 year old barn that was home to Rail Epicurean before they announced their closure in October, won’t be vacant for long. Nyla & Scott Wolf are opening namesake, Nyla’s, on May 1.

Changes are already underway as the Wolf’s hope to open the space to increase the occupancy and make it more cozy.

The couple currently owns eight local restaurants — six Wolfies Grill locations, bourbon bar The Broken Barrel in Carmel and Westfield’s The Italian House.

The Wolf’s are also hoping to create a shared outdoor space for the new concept and The Italian House, which sits next door.

The first floor will be regular restaurant space while the second floor will be a lounge space that overlooks the popular Monon Trail and will be accessible from the outside.

The menu will be comprised of steak, seafood, burgers and cocktails but with more approachable pricing than the typical steakhouse.
