In the beginning of April, Carmel will welcome Monterey Coastal Cuisine just off of the Monon in the space previously occupied by sports bar Scotty’s Brewhouse.
Owners Chris Thomas and Paul Estridge have revamped the restaurant to resemble coastal California with a mixed texture open floor plan.
Another cool feature is a jellyfish filled aquarium behind the bar.
Monterey’s menu will feature an assortment of fresh seafood including sushi, tuna, salmon, halibut, oysters, mussels and poke bowls.
