A little over two years ago after much anticipation, popular burger chain Shake Shack finally announced that it was coming to the Indianapolis International Airport.
While fans were super excited, many were hoping for a local option that didn’t require them to book a flight.
Nearly a year later, news dropped of a location at the Yard at Fishers District with two additional Indy-area locations coming – Downtown at the Ardmore Apartments and the Fashion Mall.
Development was about to get underway when COVID hit and plans were put on pause.
Thankfully, plans resumed and Shake Shack opened today at Fishers District. The location will be open daily — 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. Sunday to Thursday and 11:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The new location features the first ever ‘Shack Track Drive Up Lane’ which allows guests to order ahead and pick up their food without having to leave their cars.
