Clancy’s opening multi-level supper club, The Fountain Room, in Early 2022

Clancy’s Inc will introduce a new concept, The Fountain Room, in the building adjacent to the Bottleworks Hotel on Mass Ave this winter that’s currently home to High Alpha.

The new restaurant will be two stories inspired by Art Deco design and supper clubs of the 1960’s and 70’s. Supper clubs were popularized in that time as both restaurants and social clubs, offering high class American cuisine like steaks, seafood and pasta.

Ownership is working with local firm PHANOMEN/ design (pictured above) to develop the space expected to open in March 2022.

The locally owned restaurant group already has an existing concept at the Bottleworks District — Clancy’s Hamburgers at the Garage Food Hall, which opened at the beginning of the year.

Clancy’s Inc also owns the Grindstone restaurants scattered throughout greater Indianapolis and Michaelangelo’s Italian Bistro in Noblesville.

  1. Grindstone Charlie’s in Lafayette was my favorite place to go. Why did they do away with it? It was just as busy as a lot of the other places to eat. Will it ever be back in Lafayette?
