Happy Days Family Pancake House is replaced Edwards Drive-In

“When word got out that decades-old Edwards Drive-In permanently closed its doors in January, Laura Ballinger, like many in the Indianapolis area, felt the loss of the ’50s-themed diner that she often visited growing up.

“Edwards had been there for 64 years. The same family. So I was shocked when we saw that,” she said.

Then she saw opportunity.”
