Indy Chicken & Beer Festival Returns August 6, with new location on Monument Circle

After a sold out 2021, we’re back outside — this time on Monument Circle — and it’s time once again to find out who has Indy’s best chicken.

Whether wings, pasta, tenders, tacos, pizza and more — chicken comes in every shape, size, variety and flavor. So if you’re looking for a finger lickin’ good time, this is the place for you.

We’ve teamed up with some of our favorite local restaurants, chefs and brewers to celebrate all things chicken and beer.

“We are incredibly grateful to our participants and partners for allowing us to bring back this festival which will be bigger and better than ever,” said EatHere co-founder & CEO Bradley Houser. “Monument Circle is one of the most premiere gathering places symbolizing our city. We’re so excited to put our stamp on it with this festival.”

Last year’s festival was filled with stuffed bellies, community connection, entertainment and was highlighted by two hot wing eating contests featuring then just opening Goodwood’s bourbon barrel stout-infused extreme hot sauce.

Local DJ’s GNO and DayDay kept the tunes in rotation, creating a soundtrack for the fun-filled day that hosted fan favorites like Milktooth and Chicken Scratch.

“We expect to have double the vendors and double the fun this year. It’s great to have the Indy Chicken & Beer Fest back for year two. We have returning participants like Columbus’ 450 North Brewing and Taste of Innova Wings + Greens and new participants like Black Lemon and King Dough. We’re also really excited to have a vegan option this year.”

This year‘s festival will be one longer session with early bird tickets available now via Eventbrite for $30, plus applicable taxes and fees, while supplies last.
