Fishers residents and father & son duo Mike and Chris Marra, are opening an Italian market, Angelo’s, in the heart of the Nickel Plate District early next year.
According to the restaurant’s website, Mike’s love for Italian began a young age making pasta with his Italian grandmother in the garage of her Cleveland, Ohio home. This spurned a career over the past 40 years, working in every position including back of house, front of the house, management & ownership.
Chris began his love affair with pasta at young age as well, growing up with Mike as his dad. Sunday’s were all about food and family. Most every Sunday of Chris’s childhood was spent making Italian dishes.
Angelo’s Italian Market will be fully stocked with daily rotating options of freshly made pasta, sauce, meatballs, bread and garnish.
