For immediate release from Portillo’s:

Portillo’s, the fast casual concept known for its menu of Chicago-style favorites, proudly announces the July 9 grand opening of its newest restaurant at 8150 US-31 Indianapolis, IN. Portillo’s celebrated the new restaurant with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Portillo’s CEO Keith Kinsey and Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett.

Leading up to the restaurant’s opening, Portillo’s partnered with two local community organizations – Greenwood Education Foundation and EmployIndy – to raise donations during the restaurant’s sneak peek preview meals. Portillo’s is donating $5,000 to both the Greenwood Education Foundation and EmployIndy’s Jessica Brown Memorial JAG Scholarship.

The restaurant features a nostalgic Prohibition-themed interior, drawing décor inspiration from the 1920’s era. The 9,000-square foot restaurant will include seating for more than 200 guests, a seasonal outdoor patio, and double-lane drive-thru. Guests to the new Indianapolis location can enjoy all of Portillo’s classic menu items, including Chicago-Style Hot DogsItalian Beef Sandwiches, char-grilled burgers, fresh salads, and Portillo’s famous Chocolate Cake.
