Burger Study is the latest coronavirus-related closing

Earlier this week Burger Study made the tough decision to permanently close their doors — citing a loss in revenue due to the lack of downtown traffic from business workers, conventions, and sporting events caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Ivy League-themed burger spot opened in the fall of 2017 on Georgia Street, just inside of Circle Centre Mall and became a quick Downtown favorite.

In a statement, Burger Study mentioned all employees would be offered positions to continue their career with other Huse Culinary restaurants — St. Elmo Steak House, Harry & Izzy’s, 1933 Lounge and HC Tavern + Kitchen.
