One of the fastest growing health food chains in the country will stake its claim to Central Indiana later this year. Clean Eatz is planning to open Labor Day weekend in Fishers at 8510 E. 96th St in the space that formerly occupied Red Habanero Mexican Grill.
This will be the first Indy-area location for the chain that has opened more than 50 locations across the country with 60 additional locations in development and even more in the plans. Clean Eatz opened its first Indiana location in Dyer last spring.
Clean Eatz allows customers to build meal plans from a variety of pre-prepared dishes with a new menu releasing weekly. Lobster mac n’ cheese, steak medallions, chocolate chip waffles and vegetable tortellini are among some of the favorites from over 1,000 recipes.
Each dish is microwavable and includes information about calories, fat, carbs, protein and macros. For those who don’t pre-order meals, frozen and refrigerated grab-and-go options are also available in-store.
In addition to the meal plans, Clean Eatz serves a fresh variety of bowls, wraps, burgers & sandwiches, protein smoothies and different snacks for those who choose to dine-in. Franchise owners Jeffrey Leifel and Cassie Henegar expect the restaurant to sit 52 people — 18 on the patio and 34 inside.
More locations may be on the way based on their potential success in Fishers.
