When The AMP opens at the 16 Tech (1200 Waterway Blvd) on Monday, you’ll be sure to find something you enjoy in the 40,000 square foot space that includes 14 shipping containers, eight traditional food stalls, an open air bar, a culinary incubator and event space.
The food hall’s long-awaited opening will be celebrated with week-long events starting on the 21st, that will culminate with live entertainment on Friday, June 25 and Saturday, June 26 from Mr Kinetik and bands which have not yet been revealed.
The AMP will be closed most Sunday’s, aside special events and programming but will host brunch on the last Sunday of every month — starting on June 27th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
While vendor hours may vary, the building will be open Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Friday’s from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM and Saturday’s from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM.
More announcements are on the way with three additional vendors plus a brewery and a full-service restaurant in the works. Melon Kitchen, a delivery-only restaurant accelerator designed for local black chefs to help them scale their businesses, will also be opening later this year.
In addition to the restaurants, a contemporary barbershop, Black Orchid, offering traditional services such as hot shaves, customized haircuts and beard trims is coming soon.

Azucar Morena Arepa Bar
Azucar Morena is an arepa bar focused on showcasing the classic Venezuelan household recipes in every bite. They have another location inside the Garage Food Hall at the Bottleworks District.

Boba & Everything is a bubble tea and bagel. Bagels are supplied by a local bakery and each drink is special made to order.

Circle City Sweets is an all-from-scratch French and American Patisserie specializing in croissants, artisan breads and pastries. Circle City Sweets has been a local favorite for years, previously calling the City Market home.

The Food Architect Natural Drink and Sea Moss Bar will serve natural, whole fruit, herb infused drinks, Alkaline water, sea moss, and herb mixes that promote healthy lifestyle changes.
