Lou Malnati’s is opening a carryout, delivery location in Avon this fall

CHICAGO, May 4, 2022Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria, based in Northbrook, Ill., announced that Avon, Ind. will be home to its fifth location in central Indiana. The famous deep dish pizzeria is slated to open its first location in Hendricks County at 8802 E. U.S. Highway 36 in Avon, Ind. in the fall of 2022. The pizzeria will be located in a new multi-tenant retail building, adjacent to Costco, in the Harvest Landing shopping center at the corner of U.S. Highway 36 and Harvest Landing Drive.

The 1,760 square foot space does not include a dining room, but will offer carryout, delivery and drop-off catering services. The Avon pizzeria will join carryout and delivery locations that opened in Carmel, Ind. in October 2020, on West 86th St., Indianapolis in March 2021 and the company’s full-service restaurant and bar which opened in Indianapolis’ Broad Ripple neighborhood in November 2021. Lou Malnati’s also plans to open a store in Greenwood, Ind. this summer. 

While the menu is highlighted by the legendary deep dish pizza, it will also offer thin crust pizza along with delicious appetizers, salads, pastas and desserts. Restaurant hours will be available online at www.loumalnatis.com/indiana.

Malnati’s will hire approximately 50 local employees for the Avon, Ind. pizzeria and is looking to fill various positions with a hiring event in the coming months. The Malnati family has become famous for their original recipe, top-notch quality and hospitality since opening in 1971.
